ThinkOrbital is redefining the economics of low Earth orbit by becoming the world’s first space construction company. Their platform moves beyond the constraints of rocket fairings, utilizing autonomous in-space welding to assemble massive, scalable infrastructure - up to four times the volume of the ISS on a single launch.
To communicate this paradigm shift, ThinkOrbital needed to visualize both the immediate reality of their technology and the futuristic scope of their vision. We partnered with them to develop the concept architecture for their flagship "ThinkPlatforms" - spherical habitats designed for manufacturing, debris processing, and tourism.
Our engagement spanned the full visual spectrum. We created technical animations detailing the autonomous welding process validated during their historic May 2024 flight, and high-fidelity renders of the assembled stations. This content anchored the launch of their new website, which we designed to serve as an immersive portal for investors and commercial partners to understand the future of on-orbit construction.
